Your cards and copies stay under your control.

Local file processing

OffloadProof reads only the source folder and destination folders you select. The current native build inventories regular files, computes SHA-256 hashes, copies into its own job folders and generates receipts locally on your Mac. It does not require an account or upload file contents.

Source and destination writes

The app does not delete, format or write into the selected source folder. During preflight it may create and immediately remove a small writability probe in each selected destination. An offload writes only inside a clearly named OffloadProof job folder; an export writes a new receipt folder at the location you choose.

Receipts and manifests

Receipt bundles can contain source and volume names, relative file paths, byte counts, SHA-256 hashes, timestamps and per-destination outcomes. They do not need the original media to be readable, so you decide where the bundle is stored and who receives it.

Website and checkout

This website may produce ordinary server access logs. Purchases are processed by Polar as merchant of record under its own privacy terms. Shipmac receives the purchase details needed to deliver and support the app; payment-card details are not handled by the app.

Diagnostics

No analytics SDK, advertising SDK or automatic crash-reporting service is enabled in the current app build. Files or receipts you voluntarily send to Shipmac for support will be used only to investigate the issue you reported.

Changes

This policy will be revised if OffloadProof adds any optional network feature or third-party diagnostics. The product boundary remains explicit: the app does not erase cards, format media, provide cloud backup or guarantee protection from hardware failure.

Website analytics

This website loads Google Analytics only after you choose Allow analytics. When enabled, Shipmac measures page visits, the product hostname and checkout starts; it does not send files or content processed by the Mac app. You can change your choice at any time using Analytics choices.
